Introducing: Fitness Party

We’re incredibly excited to introduce a brand-spankin new team training session to our roster in the Batcave at First Guess Fitness.  You stuck it in our request box and we heard you so we’re adding some more variety to our kettlebell training sessions.

Starting in 2018, we’ll be adding Fitness Party to the lineup.  This is where you’ll be able to train in a circuit-style session with some new strength toys.

We thought this was a GREAT idea to give all of our Super Humans a way to experience some new movements and training techniques to add to your ninja-skills.

We’ve also re-formulated our current programming to help you specifically work on the skills and training program that will be suit your goals.  Whether it’s nailing the basics, strength, injury prevention, fat-loss, or just having a good time…we’ve got you covered.

1. Fitness Party

This new team training session can best be described as a smorgasbord of functional movement delivered in a circuit fashion.  This is our version of a traditional bootcamp-style circuit training we set up with a wide-variety of tools like medballs, sandbags, ropes, medicine balls, sandbags, kettlebells and more.  You will work hard in this studio-wide, interval-based circuit!

WHO’S THIS SESSION FOR?

This session is great for beginners and advanced Super Humans alike since it’s easy to modify for each individual.

2. CORE

This is where we help you nail the fundamentals of bodyweight and kettlebell training.   You’ll mainly be working on building strength and fitness in the core ‘grind’ exercises such as squatting, deadlifting, and pressing kettlebells as well as foundational bodyweight training.  #BuildYourCore

THE JIST.

  • FUNdamental-based strength
  • tools: kettlebells, bodyweight, bands
  • focuses on squats, lunges, hinges (deadlifts), presses and rows
  • and of course core training!

WHO’S THIS SESSION FOR?

It’s great for both beginners AND advanced trainees looking to improve their foundation and build a solid core for movement.  Beginners will nail the fundamentals and those looking for something more challenging can nail their straight goals for the basics.

3. Kettlebell Training

Kettlebell training is where you’ll be able to swing, clean and snatch you some bells!  The focus is on the more advanced training techniques that are kettlebell-specific and will help you develop strength, power, and overall athleticism to help you nail your training goals.

THE JIST.

  • StrongFirst ‘hardstyle’ kettlebell training
  • focuses on the ‘ballistics’: swings, cleans, snatches and Turkish Get-Ups
  • advanced training programs

WHO’S THIS SESSION FOR?

It’s great for those with a little training experience with kettlebells looking to build overall fitness and athleticism.  

4. AMP Inferno

This is our version of metabolic conditioning that is guaranteed to get your heart rate up, burn calories and make you sweat!  We combine interval training, kettlebell swings and bodyweight circuits to help you torch fat and move like a ninja!

  • metabolic conditioning-style training
  • HIIT
  • higher volume

WHO’S THIS SESSION FOR?

It’s great for those looking to sweat a little bit more and nail their conditioning goals.
